Ready, set, shop! Retailers offer online deals for pandemic shoppers

3ds agoMany consumers are playing it safe this season by doing their holiday shopping online instead - and there are plenty of deals out there from major retailers.
Retail analyst Marshal Cohen says to save your receipt because even if the price goes down after you buy a product, most retailers will adjust it and credit you back.
"If you see an item you want and it's on sale, just get it. The reason why is that this year more than ever we are going to see limited supply on really hot products," says Cohen.
Those consumers who have to go into the stores to shop don't need to go in first thing on Friday morning. Retailers have already started their sales and they say they're going to stagger the way they put those deals out on the floor.
