The Pomona 18-year-old who died responding to the Jennings Creek wildfire was honored on the House floor by Rep. Mike Lawler (R-17th District).
Dariel Vasquez lost his life fighting the Jennings Creek wildfire.
Lawler praised Vasquez's bravery.
"He had big dreams, a plan for college, hopes for the future, all left tragically unfulfilled," said Lawler.
