Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney announced Friday that $70 million in stimulus aid is coming for Orange County schools and local governments.
The congressman says the money and stimulus package comes at a crucial time during the pandemic when people, districts and municipalities need it most. He applauded bipartisan efforts to also get out more vaccines.
"This is a comprehensive package to address all four corners of the dramatic need that exists today in America and it will help us finally, by the Fourth of July, gather with friends and family in a way that's safe."
