Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney was in Bedford Monday to highlight tax relief in the House-passed Build Back Better Act.
Under the act, the increase in the cap on state and local SALT deductions would go from $10,000 to $80,000 through 2030.
That will result in a tax cut for most property owners.
The $10,000 limit was approved when the Republicans held the House under the Trump administration.
"We're here in Westchester where people will understand this was a big hit for folks and getting those local deductions back, a big deal," said Maloney.
