The police presence has gotten larger because the crowds have increased over the past few nights.
News 12 spoke to DMX's lawyer who said the rapper is still in a coma and on life support.
It's now been five days since his heart attack in his White Plains home, but his lawyer won't confirm whether it was drug-related or from natural causes.
On Wednesday, doctors have been running several brain functions tests on him. The results could determine what happens next.
His lawyer says his mom, fiancé and son have been allowed to visit him in the hospital.
Locals know DMX grew up in poverty in Yonkers, and now that he's famous, he's still known for feeding local families on Thanksgiving and donating money to the Nepperhan Community Center where he played basketball as a kid.
