had its second-deadliest day of the coronavirus pandemic.
More than 4,200 people died Wednesday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
That brings the nation’s death toll to over 406,000.
More than 178,000 new cases were recorded yesterday, bringing the country’s
total to more than 24.4 million
