Resources to teach kids about National Hispanic Heritage Month

National Hispanic Heritage Month is held from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Below are some resources for teachers, parents and kids from PBS LearningMedia. They offer videos, activities, toolkits and lesson plans to learn more about Hispanic heritage.
Oh Noah! - This collection is designed to teach Spanish to children ages six to eight through animated videos with embedded games that help build vocabulary.
