Rev. Dr. Allen Paul Weaver Jr, the senior pastor of one of New Rochelle’s oldest churches, died last Monday, according to Bethesda Baptist Church. He was 75.

22h agoRev. Dr. Allen Paul Weaver Jr, the senior pastor of one of New Rochelle’s oldest churches, died last Monday, according to Bethesda Baptist Church. He was 75.
Dr. Weaver served the congregation for 43 years. He was scheduled to retire at the end of this year.
The pastor was known as a “preacher’s preacher” and was active in numerous organizations in New Rochelle.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and one grandson.
A viewing will take place at the church on Thursday. A homecoming celebration is set for Friday at Shiloh Baptist Church of New Rochelle.
