Gov. Hochul declares state of emergency over cuts to SNAP
7h agoMayor Eric Adams on Friday announced the revised Medallion Relief Program for New York City taxi drivers.
The program provided over a thousand taxi drivers with $225 million in debt relief.
The revised plan was a collaboration between Marblegate Asset Management and the New York Taxi Workers Alliance.
"Our New York City taxi drivers are iconic,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “They are a huge integral part of our city, but they are an icon of the United States."
