A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday for a new ice cream shop in Ossining.
"Penny Lick Ice Cream" is down by the waterfront on Westerly Road.
Ice cream aficionados will find dozens of flavors with recipes that are free of peanuts, tree nuts and sesame.
This is the business' third location, which joins the ones in Hastings and Mamaroneck.
"The fact that we're growing in 2024, after a few years of chaos makes me really really proud, and I am very grateful to a very supportive business community, and community of customers here in Westchester County and I'm grateful to each and every employee," said the ice cream shop's Ellen Sledge.
The new Ossining ice cream shop is open seasonally from May to October.
