A rising Wallkill River prompted more evacuations in Goshen Wednesday.
Residents on Celery Lane in Goshen thought the worst was over from the nor?easter. However, they woke up to find themselves stranded after water surrounded their homes.
Rescue teams from Sparrowbush, Monroe and Montgomery assisted the Goshen Fire Department with evacuations after the town declared a state of emergency. New York State police flew overhead to determine the cause of the river?s sudden overflow.
