Road renamed to honor Greenburgh woman killed in crash

Sheehan and her daughter-in-law Diana were killed one year ago when their Tesla crashed into an apartment building in White Plains.

A portion of Saratoga Road in Greenburgh is now named Millie Ortiz Sheehan Way, honoring a beloved member of the Greenburgh Central School District.

Sheehan and her daughter-in-law Diana were killed one year ago when their Tesla crashed into an apartment building in White Plains.

The renamed road leads to Jackson Elementary School.

Millie Ortiz Sheehan was the wife of Greenburgh Councilman Francis Sheehan. Diana Trochez Sheehan was married to a Scarsdale fire captain.
