A Rockland County family was injured during a turbulent international flight earlier this month.
A Singapore Airlines flight was forced to land in Bangkok because the plane hit severe turbulence on its way from London to Singapore.
Officials said a 73-year-old British man died and dozens of other passengers were injured - including a Rockland family who is sharing their experience publicly on Facebook.
Drew Kessler posted a photo showing a water bottle jammed into the overhead compartment - near where he hit as the plane experienced the rough flight.
On his Facebook page, he says he suffered a broken neck, his wife a broken back.
He says both had surgery overseas and their two sons are OK.
The Kessler family was on their way to a Rotary International Convention in Singapore when it happened.
Kessler, an official within the organization, shows he made it there with his son's days after surgery.
Kessler says they may all be back in the United States this weekend.
News 12 reached out to him for an interview but has not heard back.
