Rockland County practiced its hurricane season safety plan Tuesday.
The training was held in the basement of the Rockland County Fire Training Center in Pomona.
Each one of the 65 participants in the drill simulated a Rockland County agency preparing for a tropical storm, and tried to solve problems including electricity issues and road cleanup.
Some trainees also handled media questions and wrote press releases.
Program coordinator Nicholas Longo told News 12 that the group also worked on upping online posts.
