Rockland man stabbed, wounded in front of wife
Police say a Rockland man was stabbed in the shoulder Sunday when a bar fight spilled into the streets.The stabbing happened outside The Club, a bar on South 9W, according to police. The 28-year-old man and his wife were inside the bar when he became embroiled in an altercation, police say. The fight spilled into the street, where according to police, the man was stabbed in the shoulder.Dispatcher Noel Lopez says he was a little shocked to hear about the stabbing. He frequents the bar and has never seen any problems there besides drunkenness.Police say the victim's wife rushed him to the hospital. He is expected to be OK. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Haverstraw Police Department at 845-354-1500.
