Route 1 South reopened around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday after a crash reduced traffic to one lane in South Brunswick.
First responders were at the scene by 4:30 a.m. just past Henderson Road. One vehicle with significant front-end damage was seen at the crash site.
Debris and shattered glass were scattered across the roadway as drivers slowly passed through the area.
Traffic was restricted to a single lane before crews cleared the scene and reopened all lanes around 5:30 a.m.
South Brunswick police have not released information about possible injuries.
