Many small business owners have pivoted to stay afloat because of the pandemic -- a couple of fashionistas in Rye are no exception. They took their business on the road.
Angela Guitard and her daughter Samantha bring luxury retail fashion to the consumer via a 23-foot mobile-style bus named Tootsie.
"We can load up the truck, we can do birthday parties, trunk shows, charity events -- pull into your driveway and have your friends come over and shop."
Samantha says she always dreamed of a mobile-style boutique. The pandemic pushed the mother-daughter duo to go for it.
With the storefront shut down, the women also transitioned by taking most of their business online.
