Rye Playland is finally back open after being closed for more than
a year.
Between construction and renovations, the park has been experiencing some
changes.
Well-known rides like the carousel caught fire in 2017 and had to be renovated.
This year, Westchester County is hoping to achieve 2019’s attendance goal over
500,000 people.
County Executive George Latimer says there is a lot to look forward to.
“If we have a good Fourth of July weekend, we can make a profit by a few million
dollars,” Latimer says.
Adults tickets are $20 and children get in for $15.
