The National Safety Council says a state-wide ban on hand-held cell phone usage while driving is not enough to keep motorists safe.
According to the NSC, drivers are four times more likely to crash while talking on a cell phone. Now, they want to ban cell phone usage all together; making no distinction between hand-held and hands-free devices.
While many drivers agree that using a cell phone in any capacity is distracting, some oppose the suggested ban.
