Yonkers police received a special blessing from priests at Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Seminary after returning a lost religious relic.
A seminarian had mistakenly given the relic to officers, thinking it was drugs.
Once police realized what it was, they returned it to the seminary in Yonkers.
"We really appreciate it," said Nasser, director of spiritual formation.
The seminary blessed the department's K-9 unit as a thank you.
