The stronger wind is starting to lessen. However, just because gusts will not be as strong as what we saw earlier in our Friday, doesn't mean that the wind is completely gone. Saturday will see blustery conditions, especially during the second half of the day when combined with lower temperatures. Layers will be your friend this weekend.
Temperatures are all over the place for the next few days. We start the weekend spring like, with temperatures soaring into the higher 50s. Then, a big change into Saturday night. Temperatures plunge to the 30s but feel more like the 20s with wind. Saturday evening brings gusts back into the 30 and 40 mph range. Sunday is cooler as well, only seeing those middle to higher 40s as a high. The beginning of the work and school week is accompanied by a return of spring like temperatures.
Rain chances are relatively low for our Saturday, but there could be a shower or two during the afternoon. Sunday is dry but chillier, but plenty of sunshine for us. Sunday night into Monday morning, we could see our next round of beneficial precipitation. Rain with some snow mixed in briefly as this moves through. We will welcome some rain because most of the Hudson Valley is still seeing a moderate drought, with a combination of moderate to severe drought in Orange.
