Riverdale residents say a scam artist is targeting elderly drivers.
The scam artist allegedly pulls elderly drivers over by claiming they have a leak under their car. Local auto shop owner Al Cohen says the man then pops the victim's hood and fiddles with the radiator cap, making the car owner believe maintenance is needed.
The scammer then "fixes" the problem and charges the victim from $40 to $100, Cohen says.
