The 95th Assembly District in Rockland County will soon to get new representation after Democrat Ryan Karben unexpectedly resigned his seat in May amid allegations of sexual advances to male staffers.
Democratic candidate Ellen Jaffee cast her ballot Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Suffern. Jaffee says she is happy her campaign was positive and focused on her record and on the issues. About a mile away, Republican candidate Joseph Brennan cast his ballot. Brennan says he put a concerted effort into his campaign. Brennan says he hopes to be lucky enough to represent the district in Albany.
Both candidates spent the day campaigning during its final hours.
