The Scarsdale School District canceled a Halloween fundraiser for UNICEF after some families expressed concerns that the charity is antisemitic.

The district superintendent released a statement that says in part, "To be clear, there are no specific threats to our school community. However, the school, district, and SPD remain vigilant. We trust our partners at SPD and will continue to work together to keep the school community safe."

News 12 reached out to UNICEF for comment but had yet to hear back as of Saturday night.
