Preston High School in Throgs Neck is mourning the loss of one of its staff members killed on the Bruckner Expressway.

The school's website reported that Margaret Donnelly was an associate in their admissions office.

Police say that 25-year-old Donnelly was driving north in the southbound lane on the Bruckner Expressway near Middletown Road early yesterday morning when she hit a Mercedes and was subsequently struck by a tractor-trailer.

Four other people involved in the incident suffered minor injuries.
