Seniors get free on-demand rides as New York expands GoGoGrandparent program

A new program is making it easier for older adults to get where they need to go in New York.

The state has announced an expansion of its transportation partnership with GoGoGrandparent, a service that offers free on-demand rides, deliveries, and care support to help aging adults live independently.

Dutchess, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Ulster counties are participating in the program.

The program is typically available to adults 60 and older.
