The sentencing of a Mount Vernon man who authorities say was caught on camera abusing a dog in Yonkers has been delayed.

Anthoin McPherson was set to face sentencing Thursday in connection to a video that went viral.

The video appears to show McPherson picking up a pit bull and throwing it into a storefront gate.

The sentencing was adjourned to Feb. 29.

McPherson is being charged with a misdemeanor.
