Severe storms quickly rolled though the Hudson Valley Thursday and left a trail of damage.In Middletown, a high school had 300 square feet of its roof ripped off. Chairs and temporary flooring set up for its graduation ceremony this Saturday were sent flying.
In Wallkill, lightning split a tree, causing half of the tree to fall through a house on California Avenue. The people inside the house suffered minor injuries.
The same storm system was also responsible for a possible tornado in southwestern Connecticut.
