NOW: Very low levels of humidity are making it feel very enjoyable outside! We have a relaxing night ahead as we move into the holiday weekend.
NEXT: Wet weather returns to the region from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning, impacting Labor Day plans. It’s MUCH NEEDED rain that will move us a touch of the dire drought situation.
News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see showers for the second half of the Labor Day weekend.
DROUGHT: Still moderate to severe.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Scattered clouds with a light breeze. Lows: Upper 60s to mid 50s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy through the day with a little more humidity. High: mid 80s. Lows: upper 60s.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy to overcast with rain showers for the late afternoon hours & isolated storms. Highs: mid 80s. Lows: upper 60s.
MONDAY – LABOR DAY: Widespread shower activity through much of the day. Highs: upper 70s to low 80s. Lows: mid 60s.
TUESDAY: Rain showers wrap up through the morning hours with sunny breaks during the afternoon. Highs: upper 70s to low 80s. Lows: mid 60s.
REST OF NEXT WEEK: Drier and brighter skies with highs in the low to mid 80s.
