A new Siena College poll shows Gov. Andrew Cuomo holding a sizable lead over Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino in the race for New York governor.
The poll has Cuomo leading 60 percent to Astorino's 23 percent. The poll also shows 59 percent of voters say Cuomo had made New York a better place to live. Only 15 percent say he has made it worse.
Astorino's spokeswoman says the Republican executive is more focused on what he can do to help New York rather than on polls. A spokesperson for the New York State Democratic Committee, meanwhile, says the poll shows more people are deciding they do not like Astorino.
Election Day is in 15 weeks.
