A car fire in Sloatsburg required multiple departments to put it out on Sunday.

The Sloatsburg Fire Department posted pictures on their Facebook page of the fire that broke out around 3 p.m. and then led to a small grass fire.

Crews from Sloatsburg and Tuxedo were on the scene putting out the blaze.

The blaze prompted Sloatsburg Fire Department to put out a call for more volunteers. The department is accepting new members at the firehouse this Wednesday at 7 p.m.
