Some residents living on Story Avenue want to know why there is so much litter on their street. The Soundview residents say the lack of garbage cans on their block is the cause of the litter. Officials from the Department of Sanitation say there aren't any trashcans in the area because there isn't enough pedestrian traffic. Sanitation officials say a mobilized litter patrol will be set up to monitor the area.
