A Somers High School alum became a champion on "Jeopardy!" on Monday - and got another chance to compete Tuesday night.
Unfortunately, Katie Palumbo did not make it to the next round.
Palumbo says she's watched the show with her family her whole life.
She says only 500 people are picked each season, so just making the show is an accomplishment in itself.
"I know how much it even took to get on and then you're sitting there with people chatting before the show before the taping and everything and everybody's brilliant.. laughing.. it's very intimidating," she says.
Palumbo says she watched old episodes of the show to prepare.
