A Somers woman with chronic kidney failure is hoping to find a donor.
News 12 spoke with Alice Dillon this summer. She had a kidney transplant back in the early 2000s, but Dillon and her parents are starting all over again as donated kidneys only last 10 to 15 years - and hers is now failing.
Her parents tell News 12 several people came forward after News 12 ran a story about her, but they were either not a match or decided not to move forward.
They hope someone can help.
If you have O-blood type and you would like to donate, the couple is asking that you reach out to them via email at mdillon897@aol.com.
