If you're looking for a beautiful place to spend a quiet fall day - the beautiful, quaint village of Cold Spring may be the place for your next Road Trip: Close to Home!
In a place full of scenery and culture, our first stop is a store with a unique concept – Paulette Cold Spring. "It's a place where you just can relax. Something for people to sit down and take a break and shop or not shop, but have coffee," says Jacqueline Azria, owner Paulette Cold Spring.
That's right -- you can fuel up and browse an eclectic array of patterns for any clothing and jewelry.
You'll also find a lot of locally made gifts to take a piece of Cold Spring home with you.
Between the pastries and coffee - a lot of it is locally sourced.
The next stop is Judie’s Bungalow, where you’ll find a mix of all kinds of art and furniture all by Judie Gordon herself! “It’s all original they’re not going to find it any other place unless its mine. What’s nice for me is that this is my studio,” says Gordon.
In fact, Judie hand-makes everything you see -- from hats to décor, and so much more. She even restores antique furniture with her own vintage flare!
And speaking of artwork, you have to check out mother nature’s display at the iconic waterfront of Cold Spring. From West Point and beyond, the views are so vast and spectacular.
Before heading home, treat yourselves at Moo Moos Creamery— an ice cream staple. On any day you’ll find 16 rotating homemade flavors, all made fresh from a family recipe dating back to the early 90s.
