Nice weather is coming this weekend, and just in time for the Spring Crafts show at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown.
All weekend, the area will be bustling for the crafts event, which takes place twice a year in the fall and spring.
It’s one of the longest-running events in the Hudson Valley, with upward of 250 vendors set up selling everything from clothing to jewelry and home decor to furniture and fine art.
There’s also plenty to eat along with local wineries and distilleries on hand for tasting. Also expect music and plenty for the kids to do, with a puppet theater, face-painting and storytelling craft demos.
Most of the vendors hail from the Hudson Valley, so it’s a perfect opportunity to support local businesses.
Whether you’re going or not, it’s worth knowing that traffic along South Broadway will likely be backed up all weekend.
Parking is free on-site, along with free off-site parking at 303 South Broadway, with a free shuttle to take you to and from — but only on Saturday and Sunday.
There is an admission free, but you can get your tickets online. Once you’re in, not only can you shop, you can also spend time wandering around the 67-acre estate.
