One person was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash this morning on I-684 in the Town of Southeast.
State police say they responded to the crash in the southbound lanes around 7:15 a.m. The left and center lanes were still closed late Sunday morning as troopers investigated the scene.
News 12 crews saw two badly damaged vehicles overturned on the grass between the northbound and southbound lanes. A long strip of metal, which appeared to be a guardrail, was observed lying on the ground next to one of the vehicles.
News 12 will have more on this story as it develops.
