A 22-year-old Queens man drowned in the Delaware River on Saturday, state police say.

Brian Ordenia-Flores, was rafting with friends and family at Indian Head Campgrounds in Barryville in Sullivan County when it happened.

Troopers say Flores tried swimming to an island in the middle of the river but got tired and caught in the current.

Flores was found by members of National Park Services and brough to Columbia Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
