State police have identified the man killed by a falling tree limb in Somers as Jonathan Chavez Jaramillo, of Ossining.
Police say the 31-year-old was working to take down a tree when he was struck by a falling limb.
It happened late Monday afternoon at a home on Londonderry Lane.
The Somers Fire Department attempted lifesaving measures, but he later died.
