6h agoA Torrington man was killed on I-84 west in Hartford Saturday night.
State police say Rafael Rodriguez was in the left lane near the entrance ramp to I-91 south when he was struck by a vehicle around 8:15 p.m.
It's not clear why Rodriguez was on the highway. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital with serious injuries and later died there.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
