A Stony Point man has pleaded not guilty to several charges, including second-degree murder.
Robert Rodriguez has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation after missing his original arraignment date due to being sent to a psychiatric facility.
He is accused of killing Ronald Mann in February 2021 at Rodriguez's home. According to the County District Attorney's office, Rodriguez shot Mann and then drove the victim's car, with Mann's body inside, to Exit 16 on the Palisades Parkway. There, he allegedly poured gas on the parked car and set it on fire before leaving the area.
Rodriguez was arrested earlier this year and has been remanded to Rockland County Jail.
