News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison says the weekend will be sunny and clear in the Hudson Valley.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 p.m. for parts of the Hudson Valley.
NOW: High pressure moves in for the weekend, giving the region a much needed break from any wet weather! Also, humidity levels will be decreasing, while temps stay nice and warm.
NEXT: Next week shows a few rain/storm chances developing, but so will be a rise in temperatures for the second half. 90s are in sight, along with muggy air, could mean some hazy, hot & humid days for the Hudson Valley.
OVERNIGHT: Decreasing cloud cover with a northwest breeze, bringing in less humid air. Lows: upper 50s to mid 60s.
