So, in the meantime, let's check in with Jade. She's also on the sawmill, but she's south of us, Jade. How's it looking by you? Good morning, Lisa and everyone at home. Yes, we moved a little bit, so we're not near the sawmill just yet. Right now, we're on the corner of Nehan Avenue, an executive boulevard where right now is going a rain snow mix. I'm going to step out of the shot to give you a better look at what we're experiencing right here. Um So right now, as you can see, there's a decent amount of slush on the ground like Lisa is reporting where they are right here in Yonkers are also black top, very visible sidewalks here. Really haven't been shoveled yet, but again, it is still early. However, the roads are people's biggest concerns at this time. Moments ago, a plow did just pass us mainly clearing the sides of the road near the sidewalk and again, they are full of slush. However, on the roads themselves, people do seem to be driving just fine. They do have their wipers on again with the rain snow mix that we're experiencing. However, if you do have to drive today. It is always advisable to drive with caution or stay at home if you can. Um So yeah, that's basically what the situation is right here in Yonkers. Later on today, we will be heading up to Rockland to take a better look at what those conditions are there for. Now, I'm gonna send it back to the studio.

So now we want to check in with Jade. She is in Rockland County, Jade. How's it looking by you? Good morning, Lisa. Yeah, we have arrived here in Rockland County Stony Point to be exact. And let me tell you, it is a much different scene from what we just saw in Yonkers. As you can see, the snow is coming down very heavily here. Much of the tree branches are filled with snow, the grassy areas are filled with snow and honestly, the snow is thick enough that I can actually kick and it's thick enough to pack. Now, I'm gonna step to the side to let my photographer show you what we're looking at here off of route 210. We are currently on a hill and to be honest with you, it's a much higher elevation when we were. So there's a lot of sluts, there's a stream of water running down the side of this hill where we are and we did actually slip inside a little bit getting here. However, I'm with a very skilled driver, my photographer Aaron here. And so now I'm going to pass it over to my colleague, Blaze Gomez who was in Orange County place? What it look like where you're at.

Hi, everyone. Yeah, we're here in Stony Point up in Rockland County. We're currently standing at the town's highway Department facility. Now, all day, they've been taking salt out of that shed and placing it into the backs of trucks. Really different. Crew members have been in and out of this facility as you just seen all day to get refills. It's part of a big operation to get the people of Stony Point safe and keep the roads as clear as possible as the snow continues to fall here earlier, we met up with the town supervisor Jim Monahan here at the facility to learn what they are focusing on today. Essentially. He says their main goal is to clean up all of the sidewalks and catch basins. Here's why we wanna make that clear. So, as we anticipated rain that there's a place for the rain to go. I know, uh, the superintendent and supervisor, uh, that's probably their main priority now, being prepared for the heavy rain that's anticipated on Tuesday. Now, as we look towards Tuesday, the supervisor does say he will have crews out all day to tomorrow to get ready for the storm that will hit on Tuesday. Hopefully these people are able to get a little bit of a break in between both storms. I'm now going to pass it over to my colleague, Blaise Gomez up in Orange.
