STORM WATCH: Nor’easter brings wind, rain and snow to the Hudson Valley

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says on and off snow bands will be moderate to heavy throughout day, and an additional 2-3 inches of snow is expected.

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says on and off snow bands will be moderate to heavy throughout day, and an additional 2-3 inches of snow is expected.
WHAT'S NEW: The nor’easter will start as rain but will change over to plowable snow. Lower snow totals will be closer to New York City. There is a chance at double-digit numbers to the northwest of I-84 and I-87. Coastal flooding will also be a concern for southern Westchester County. Gusty winds are expected to get to 20-40 mph and power outages could become an issue.
 STORM WATCH: Change over from any rain/mix to all snow for everyone as the winds pick up.
TUESDAY:  Bands of light to moderate snow for many with windy conditions.
WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds with a chilly wind.
THURSDAY:  Mostly sunny with a pleasant breeze.
FRIDAY - ST. PATRICK’S DAY: Sun and clouds with mild temps.
