Severe thunderstorms, hail possible through evening hours ahead of warm weekend

NOW: Prepare for thunderstorms, scattered clouds, and warm, muggy weather. 
Storm Watch Meteorologist Addison Green says warm air and muggy temps are expected for the weekend after Friday's wet weather.
NEXT: The weekend looks rather mundane with a mix of sun and clouds, warm temps with muggy air. A spot shower or two is possible across the lower portion of the Hudson Valley.
OVERNIGHT: Expect scattered clouds, warm and a sticky, humid feeling. Temps should drop to the upper-60s to the low-70s.
SATURDAY: Prepare for sun and clouds but a rather warm and humid start to the weekend with a very low spot shower chance during the day. Expect highs in the mid-80s and lows in the upper-60s to low-70s.
SUNDAY: The day should be partly cloudy to mostly sunny, warm, and muggy. Expect highs in the mid-80s with lows in the low-70s.
MONDAY: The workweek should kick off mostly sunny to mostly cloudy, feeling rather steamy with highs in the upper-80s and lows in the low-70s.
REST OF NEXT WEEK: After a cold front pass by early Wednesday morning, drier and more refreshing air rushes in for Thursday through next weekend with temps running near average. It'll feel like a touch of Fall!
