STORM WATCH: Snow and rain overnight in the Hudson Valley

A system moves through overnight bringing freezing rain, rain and snow to the region.

The Hudson Valley will start seeing snow showers late Sunday evening into Monday. It starts as scattered snow showers then transitions to snow/icing north of 84, freezing rain along 84 and rain to the south. This will progress throughout the overnight and into the morning commute and rush hour.
The combination of cold/freezing ground over the past few days will further impact travel when combined with the freezing elements. The further south in the Hudson Valley, the more likely you are to see more rain.
A winter weather advisory is in place until 11 a.m.
OVERNIGHT: Low of 35 degrees with rain, snow, sleet, and freezing rain possible. Winter weather advisory covers much of the region through 11 a.m. Monday.
MONDAY: High of 48, low of 46. AM wintry mix with rain, snow, sleet and freezing rain. Evening fog and rain. Temperatures increase overnight.
TUESDAY: High of 58, low of 35. Am showers, pm clears out.
WEDNESDAY: High of 46, low of 28. Sun and clouds to rain/mix late.
