Customers at a diner in White Plains left during their lunch when they saw a man inside wearing a swastika.
One customer told News 12 the man was wearing a baseball cap adorned with a yarmulke with a swastika drawn on. Richard Komita and his wife Roseanna tell News 12 that the police were called and escorted the man out.
"It's probably within his First Amendment rights, but to be that blatant and display that kind of hate in a public place--if you don't call it out, I think it gets worse," Richard Komita said.
This is the fifth anti-Semitic incident News 12 has reported on in the last 10 days.
There were recently swastikas drawn inside Pelham Middle School and Pleasantville High School. One message read "Jews will die by Hitler" on a Hasidic family's deck in Pomona.
Anti-Semitic graffiti and vulgar hate poster was also found at the Holocaust Garden of Remembrance in White Plains.
The owner of the diner said he was very thankful that White Plains police responded to the incident so quickly.
News 12 is awaiting comment from police for further information.
