Hundreds of homes and businesses across the Hudson Valley lost power when gusty winds knocked down trees and utility lines overnight.
News 12 meteorologists say the winds gusted up to 50 mph.
In Westchester, two of the hardest hit areas were Pleasantville and Hastings.
Joe Mason, of Bronxville, said he wasn't surprised to see tree and Con Edison crews working in his neighborhood.
A huge tree came down Sunday night knocking out power to people living on Warwick Road.
"I woke up this morning my alarm did not go off, no power, nothing," says Mason.
