The Rockland Community Foundation and Optimum are seeking submissions for the new Innovated Teaching Grant program.

The program aims to empower educators to create hands-on learning projects and teaching tools.

Teachers can receive an individual grant between $200 and $500 or a group grant between $500 and $1,000.

Optimum is donating $15,000 to the program through Donors Choose.

Public school teachers in the county can apply now through Sept. 15.

Optimum is the sister company of News 12 Networks.
