Man who killed Danbury taxi driver sentenced to 21 years to life in prison

A Sullivan County man was sentenced in Rockland County for repeatedly sexually abusing a child.

Prosecutors say he raped a child multiple times between 2017 and 2024.

The abuse began while the child was just 7 years old.

The Rockland district attorney says 35-year-old Joel Deutsch will spend 10 years to life in prison.

Deutsch will also have to register as a sex offender.
